    Hey guys,

Saw the link to this on Michaels facebook and am very intrigued I noticed you have a ‘what’s in season’ sections, so i thought you’d find this website useful,

I really love the positive body image that you’re trying to inspire. I have do ask however, did you ever feel ostracised because of your naturism? How did your peers react to it generally?

Additionally, whilst i understand the want to be naked whilst doing what you want to do, could you explain the subculture of naturism to me? I can understand naked cooking, or going to a nude beach, but can’t understand why you’d go away specifically to be nude and do everyday things (such as the club documented within the C4 show)?

All the best to you, you’re all beautiful people, mind and body.

    Dipak 🙂

      Thanks for the link! 🙂
We have quite a socially liberal group of friends who are pretty OK with it. And we arent naked all the time when around them so it doesnt really become an issue. Most people think were just a bit eccentric…
Personally, I dont really get the clubs thing. I like being naked, yeah, but I want to do stuff I enjoy with people I like. I’ve never been to a club, but in general I have the impression I wouldnt have much in common with people who go – I doubt their are many queer communists who like vegan food there! 😛

Hello! Similarly to many of the people who have already left messages, I saw the prog on Channel 4 also and totally agree with all that has already been said. I think the messages you guys are putting out there is great – the pressure that people are put under to conform to prescribed images of beauty are just ridiculas, but I guess all societies have these pressures in some form. People jut need to have a strong enough sense of self, and all will be well. I wasted the entirety of my teens and 20’s being massively self conscious about the way i look. Determined as I enter my 30s to break this curse! I live in Manchester, so will keep an eye out for any events you might have going on in the future. All the best!

I don’t know if this will be of interest to your followers but below is a review of one of my books on Amazon. It is based on a naturist theme – by a committed naturist of over 30 years and approved by his wife :o)

It is published under my pen name “John Gwynant” and can also be seen at

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read, 13 Jan 2012
By (Hampshire,UK) (REAL NAME) (I’ve removed his name from this copy out of respect for his privacy. but it is visible on amazon)

This review is from: The Unremarkable Couple (Lurking in the Wolds) (Kindle Edition)

It is nice to read a good book that is favourable towards nudity and naturism and also includes the subject that can often give some naturists the wobbles and that is the S word,, yeah “Sex” .

One of the benefits of being a couple of naturists is that sometimes our sexuality is spontaneous and unrestricted and that is more or less how the couple is portrayed in the book so it is correct.

I am currently writing a sequel but it’ll take another couple of months before it’s published

It would be fantastic if you decided to post a mention on your blog for all those naturist veggies in the south… We are always keen to meet nude folk and get stuck into some lovely food…

Hey, i know i won’t get a reply, and i know loads of people are saying this, but i saw the show on 4oD. Firstly,i’d love to be as confident as all of you. A size 14 is the average size for women in the uk, so why do i feel so uncomfy showing myself? Photoshop took a turn for the worst. Being a young age of 15, it’s hard, because it’s the time in your life where you try to fit in. Anyway, the main point of my comment is to give my views. The guy with the curly hair… that’s abit long? You are perfect, man. :D. Like, ugh, people that said OH! they’re all fat. Fuck them, because you arn’t. Have confidence in yourself, because whilst watching it, i saw no problem with your weight, and imma be common now…. because i’m from Essex 😉 but…you looked’ fit as’. And the other guy, who said he suffered from weight issues when he was younger. BANGABLE! And the girl… she’s immensley pretty and has an amazing body shape. I think you guys should be idols. I don’t agree with all the time nudity, but that’s only because of low self esteem. But i agree we should be naked more. Keep up with the good work, because it’s people like you that the world needs. None of you are fat. Don’t listen to the dicks. As bob marley once said, Who are you to judge the life i live? I am not perfect and i don’t want to be.Before you start pointing fingers make sure your hands are clean.

Wow, i’ve rambled! but you guys, wow, i admire you so much! Please reply if you can! The guys calling you fat are just the dicks that are insecure themselves. The sick people that get off on seeing other peoples hurt and pain.

    Sorry about my rant xD
    Emily Hall, Colchester.

Most Impressed! Great food and fantastic attitude. Whilst I’m not sold on a total vegan lifestyle there are some excellent recipes here and the positive message you are spreading to the body-concious is to be highly commended. Alas I am no longer ‘young’ and my body may not be ‘perfect’ but I am equal. Not superior, not inferior, just human. Naturism isn’t unhealthy, society is. Lets strip away the pretentious veneer and move to a healthier mind & body. You’re doing a great job – keep it up. Thanks.

HI GUYS! please fill out my survey it only takes a few moments! would really appreciate it

  17. September 13, 2013 at 11:52 pm #

Well done all of you. I’m the male (father) in my family of wife and 2 boys and they are all so body conscious. I was a child of the 60s and had some chance to experience naturism and know what it’s like to have all of ones body in the freshair and nothing else between. Sadly not the others in my family. They can’t seem to separate the desire to be naked and the expression of sexual feelings for sex.
It’s as if the more you get to see other people naked, the less you notice they are naked (where nakedness in our society is usually only seen in a sexual context) and the more u see them as the person. It feels quite liberating.
